Important: When replacing a car battery, it is crucial to match the original battery technology.
If your vehicle has Start-Stop technology and is fitted with an AGM or EFB battery, you must replace it with the correct equivalent.
Never downgrade the battery technology to save money. This will cause the new battery to fail prematurely and will invalidate its warranty. For example, fitting a standard flooded battery to a Start-Stop vehicle will cause it to fail and lead to a loss of key vehicle functions.
Note: Vehicles with CO2 reduction technologies (like Start-Stop and Regenerative Braking) may require reprogramming of the Battery Management System (BMS) to reset the charging parameters for the new battery. Refer to your vehicle's user guide for more information.
