Purchasing via our On Line Shop

You must be 18 years or over to purchase goods from our Online Shop.

The process itself is as simple as we can make it. Simply find the item you wish to purchase, click on it and it will be added to your Basket. Once you have selected all the items that you wish to purchase, you can proceed to the checkout, whereupon you can check your order and select the delivery options you wish to pursue.

All items should be in stock, but in the event that an item is out of stock you will be contacted and given the opportunity to either have the order on back order or have a substitute.

We accept all major credit cards except American Express and you can use Paypal as well.

When unpacking your battery, please ensure that the information pack is in the carton that the battery arrived in. If it is not, please contact us as soon as possible.

If the goods have already been shipped to you, there will be some costs involved. (Website Terms, Supply of Goods, Clause 10.5)

Recycling and Waste Batteries
Since 2014, all battery producers must follow UK law with regard to the supply of batteries onto the UK market. The link below explains the responsibilities that we, as producers, must abide by.

To this end, we are quite willing to accept your old battery for the proper and correct environmental disposal. In order for you to do this, you can take your old battery to any of Shield’s Battery Centres in person where the staff will happily take the battery off your hands. You will not be able to post them to us.

Please note that we cannot accept NiCad or Lithium batteries for Environmental disposal.
