Accepted Payment
Paying online is simple, we accept Mastercard, Visa and Switch debit cards. We authorise all credit card orders in 'real time' and an email will be sent to you detailing your order. We do not debit your Credit Card until your goods have been despatched. If you place an offline order you will be contacted by one of our representatives to arrange payment. If you choose to pay by cheque there is a waiting period of up to 10 days after we receive you cheque before we will process your order. This is due to clearing through the banking system.

Privacy Policy
Batterycharged will only collect information when ordering from the web site. Details collected will include personal details, credit card details and a delivery address. These details go to our accounts system via a secure server hosted by our payment solution company, ishop. No third party companies or persons will have access to this information and it will only be used by ishop to process the order(s) placed. All information is collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Any personal data will not be transferred out of the EEA. Other areas of the site that collect information will have an 'opt out' facility. If one is not present (the secure order form) you are assured that your information will not be added to our mailing lists. Customers are only sent emails if they have requested to do so. Batterycharged will never pass on your details to third party companies. We do not send random marketing emails to personal email addresses (spam).

Security Policy
Batterycharged use ishop as their payment solution company. ishop is an approved payment solution provider for Barclays Merchant Services, Nat West Streamline and The Bank of Scotland, and as such their security systems have been vetted. Security is a main priority for ishop, and everything is done to ensure that any transaction performed through this system is done so safely and 100% securely. The systems are monitored 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

How do I order goods?
We have made buying from Batterycharged as simple as possible. Our shopping basket will store items you have placed within it for up to four hours. Each item for sale will have an order button. When you press this button you are taken to the order-processing page where the item will be automatically added to your basket. To view items in the shopping basket and amend them accordingly simply click on the 'show order' section.
You can input how many of each item you would like, decide to continue shopping, remove an item from the basket or check out and place your secure order. It is at this time you would be asked for your name and address and then your credit card details.

Minimum delivery charge
We have a minimum delivery charge of £1.00 This is necessary because of the high cost of processing credit cards, the time involved in picking and packing small orders, the cost of Jiffy bags and packaging materials and the postage fees.
The postal cost for your order is calculated on the second page of the checkout after selecting the various postal options. In most cases your goods will be sent by Royal Mail, if this is the case you will be prompted at the checkout if you wish to have the order sent by recorded delivery. If the goods are sent by Recorded Delivery or courier then they will require a signature upon receipt. If no one is available to sign for the package, a card will be left at the delivery address and the item may then be picked up from your local depot. Should this occur, please take an item of I.D. along with you for verification of identity.
If you do not choose to have your parcel sent recorded delivery and it gets lost then we will not be held responsible. We reserve the right to use alternative couriers for all deliveries.

How long will it take to get to me?
Orders received by 2pm are normally dispatched the same day, most within 48 hours. Please however allow up to 7 working days for delivery as we do rely on Royal Mail for smaller items. Saturday, Sunday and Bank holidays are not included.
We will notify you of any change of delivery by e-mail or telephone providing that we have your correct details with the order.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
Our terms and conditions apply to all transactions and use of Batterycharged website and are set out below. Please read through these carefully before placing your order.
1. We may change these terms and conditions from time to time without prior notification to you. Any changes will only apply to subsequent orders.
2. To order goods from this website you must be over the age of 18 years.
3. All prices include 15.00 % Value Added Tax (VAT) and is applicable to customers in the United Kingdom.
4. Goods are subject to availability. In the unlikely event that we are unable to supply the goods you have ordered, we will inform you of this as soon as possible and where appropriate suggest an alternative. A full refund will be given where you have already paid for the goods.
5. We make every effort to deliver goods within 7 working days, however delays are occasionally inevitable and beyond our control. If delivery is likely to be longer a member of Batterycharged. will contact you advising you of an approximate delivery date. It is our strict policy not to take payment for the order until the goods are ready for dispatch.
6. While we try and ensure that all prices, photographic and specification details are correct on our website, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of the goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of confirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you or you do not respond, we will treat the order as cancelled. If either party cancels an order and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.
7. The contract between us shall be governed by the laws of England. Any dispute between us will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England.
8. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. We therefore operate rigorous Quality Control and checking procedures prior to the dispatch of your goods. Despite these procedures we offer a 17 day money back guarantee. Some products are however excluded from this guarantee and are clearly marked as such.
9. In the unlikely event that you receive faulty, damaged or incorrect goods, please return the goods unused in their original packaging together with a copy of the receipt within 17 days of purchase to us. We will pay for the return of the goods and either exchange the goods or offer a full refund at your discretion.
10. In the event that a product develops a fault or that the fault becomes apparent after 17 days of purchase, please contact us so that we may arrange for the rectification of the fault under the Manufacturers Guarantee. We will not be held liable for the costs of postage & packaging of the returned goods after 17 days. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
11. Sometimes the product specifications from the manufacturer may change or the product is temporarily unavailable, in which case we will do our best to offer you a substitute of the same or better quality at the same price. If you are not happy with the replacement you can return it in accordance with our 17 days money back guarantee.
12. You may cancel your order in accordance with your rights under the Distance Selling Regulations. To cancel your order you must contact us within 7 days of delivery of your purchase quoting your Order Number.
13. All specifications and measurements are approximate. Despite our efforts to be as accurate as possible, there may be a rare occasion that there is an error. We will notify you about it as soon as possible.
14. We have selected our products on the basis that they will be used for household / domestic use only. If your purchase is for business use, please ensure that you are covered by appropriate insurance.
15. We do not guarantee that this website will be compatible with your computer equipment. We do not accept liability for any corruption or loss of data held thereon and similarly we will not be held liable for any other loss or damage of any kind caused to your computer equipment resulting from the use of this website.
16. We reserve the right to refuse any order.
